Our Technical Committees are made up of a member of the Board of Directors who serves as President, an official of the Structure who serves as Secretary, and representatives of the Member companies responsible for each individual topic.

Labor and Industrial Relations

She is dedicated to negotiations and bargaining with trade unions, and is concerned with seafarers' working conditions, current legislation on health and safety in the workplace, training, and equal pay and treatment.

Logistics, Ports and Infrastructure

It focuses on all matters related to logistics and port operations, as well as ship services within port facilities. The Group also maintains relationships with terminal operators and institutional bodies such as Port System Authorities, Port Authorities, and railways. It also handles all matters related to the self-management of port operations, towage services, pilotage, and related port dues.

Innovation Technology, Environment and Safety

It addresses all aspects of ship safety and typical navigation issues, as well as emissions and pollution, the Ballast Water Convention, ship technical development, and alternative marine fuels.

International navigation

It covers all issues relating to ocean navigation for both container ships and tankers and bulk carriers.

Short Range and Public Transport

Studies short-sea shipping and local coastal passenger transport or transport to smaller islands, and the applicable competition rules.

Energy Transition of the Maritime Sector

She focuses on European and international legislation related to the energy transition in the maritime sector, addressing both general and operational aspects of regulatory implementation, future development directions, and the Association's perspectives on action.

Cabotage and Motorways of the Sea

Studies ro-ro transport in the context of international cabotage services, port tariffs, passenger terminals, also analyzing the legislation relating to state aid and everything related to the issue of cd. "Motorways of the Sea".

Finance and Taxation

It deals with issues relating to the income tax of shipping companies, VAT, excise duties, port taxes, dockage and import duties. Italy's second largest shipping register and its pension contribution scheme are also among the topics discussed.

cruises

It focuses on the cruise industry and its operators. Issues such as the cruise supply chain, pollution and accessibility to ports and territorial waters, port charges, and the costs associated with domestic tourism services are typically covered by the expert group.

National Recovery and Resilience Plan

The Association actively addresses issues related to the PNRR of interest to the maritime sector (initiatives, strategies, and discussions). Its responsibilities include: identifying and supporting the most relevant interventions for the sector with a view to fleet renewal, monitoring the aid measures provided by the PNRR supplementary fund, producing technical documentation to support the Association, and assisting companies in supporting potential co-financing of investments, particularly with a view to directly granting resources to shipowners.
