Assarmatori, Conftrasporto-Confcommercio, Federagenti, Federlogistica and Fise Uniport expressed today to the General Commander of the Port Authority – Coast Guard Admiral Nicola Carlone, on the occasion of the public assembly of Federagenti held in the morning in Rome, their concern on the question to the news according to which the Government would hypothesize depriving the Corps of some functions relating to the civil uses of the sea and to some activities.

“The General Commander of the Port Authority – Coast Guard, with its operational autonomy and the professionalism of its men and women, has always represented excellence in guaranteeing safety at sea and compliance with all international and national standards that regulate the maritime and port activities. We ask to not change the current balance relating to the governance of the blue economy, showing full support for the delicate work of the Body and the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport”, the associations affirm.
